I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at The Fireplace Warehouse in Richmond, BC, primarily due to the ineptitude of the general manager. It’s clear that they have no understanding of how to properly manage orders or communicate with customers. After placing my order it became evident that the general manager (Rick) had no grasp of the process or what was happening with my purchase. His inability to provide clear answers and their overall unprofessionalism made an already frustrating situation even worse. I’d been looking online to replace our wood burning fireplace with an electric unit and didn’t really know where to start. Derek was absolutely amazing with helping us through the whole process!  From selection to installation, Derek was there to help us along the way.  There was a small hiccup with getting the right sized custom surround and safety screen, but Derek came out personally to help remedy the situation and install a new one in a very timely manner. Rick came out and gave us a quote and today not even 2 weeks later it was installed.
Cory and Steven were our installers today.
The electrician showed up early and the guys a few minutes behind him.
They were absolutely phenomenal. Friendly, Knowledgable trustworthy and on time.
I felt safe enough to leave them alone and run out for coffee.

We had some issues in our wall with the way the old fireplace was installed which caused some issues for the new fireplace, but the guys made it work!
Cory sat down with me after the install and explained how the remote worked, and showed me all the features.

And best of all they were CLEAN!  Left my house in the exact same condition as when they arrived.

I’m honestly blown away.
10 out of 10.
We LOVE our new fireplace.
